Listen again: 15th May 2012

Rosie has Ty from the American folk-rock band Girlyman on the phone to talk about their latest album “Supernova” and its meaning. Ty also tells us about their UK tour at the end of May, different audiences and with whom they have shared the stage so far.

She also welcomes Sarah Barnsley from ‘Queer, The Space’ in the studio. ‘Queer, The Space’ is an exhibition that looks at space a bit differently and re-imagines it.  The exhibition opens at the Centre for Creative Collaboration on 24th May.

For rights reasons the music is not on the podcast, but that’s what you could hear on the show:

1) Girlyman: ‘Nothing Left’ from the album “Supernova”

2) Sea of Bees: ‘Broke’ from the album “Orangefarben”

3) Amity: ‘Bedpost’

4) Heather Peace: ‘Better Than You’ from the album “Fairytales”
