Listen to Rosie’s special on 40 years of Pride on Saturday 7th July at 10am on Resonance FM!

On the day that London hosts World Pride and the global LGBT community flock to the UK, Rosie Wilby and the Out In South London team present a special show celebrating 40 years of Pride in London by looking back at the history and changing face of the event with people who attended the marches throughout the 70s and 80s, including the first official one in 1972.

Rosie is joined by

Dr Patrick Williams, Chair of Pride London

Roz Kaveney, novelist, poet, critic and activist

Philip Rescorla, original member of the London Gay Liberation Front and their Street Theatre group who has sung with The Pink Singers at Pride festivals for the last 25 years

Another date for your diary is 18th August for the UK Black Pride at Kennington Park.
