Rosie shares memories with Uwern Jong, Marketing Director from Boutique Marketing of last year’s first Big Gay Lifestyle Show and he gives us an insight into what we can expect this year with guests like Paul Burston who is involved in the Polari Prize, singer Marcus Reeves and Venture photography as one of the exhibitors, who offer to have a free photograph taken. The Big Gay Lifestyle Show is happening on Saturday 20th October at the Grand Connaught Rooms.
Singer and Pianist Ian Shaw is with us! Not only in the studio but also at the piano! He gives us a sample from his album “A Ghost In Every Bar” and tells us about his show ‘A Bit Of A Mouthful’, which could be seen at the Canada Water Culture Space on 11th October. He also reveals how he discovered the world of Jazz as a child in Wales, what made him combine jazz music with comedy and how his latest album came about.
For rights reasons the music is not on the podcast, but that’s what you could hear on the show:
1) Marcus Reeves: ‘Behind the Mask’
2) Nona Hendryx: ‘When Love goes to war’ from the album “Mutatis Mutandis’
3) Ian Shaw: ‘Feet Do Your Stuff’ from the album “A Ghost In Every Bar” – live on the piano and on the podcast
4) Ian Shaw: ‘Love Go Round’ from the album “A Ghost In Every Bar”
