What a busy show! Canadian singer-songwriter Annabelle Chvostek delights with live music, she also brought along Jérémie Jones on upright bass and Tony Spina on drums/percussion. She sings ‘End of the Road’ and ‘Foxtail’ and explains why her latest album “Rise” has a more political note than her previous albums. Annabelle plays at the Green Note in Camden on Thursday 7th March.
This time comedians Scottee and Amy Lame have teamed up to come together on our show to present their latest programme “Hamburger Queen” – as it is now called – at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. They tell us about the fun we can expect and what motivated them to do it. Scottee and Amy’s alternative beauty pageant can be seen on 7th, 14th, 21st March and with a Grand Final on 28th March 2013.
For rights reasons the music is not on the podcast, but that’s what you could hear on the show:
1) Danni Nicholls: ‘Bird of Paradise’ from the album “A Little Redemption”
2) Annabelle Chvostek playing live: ‘End of the Road’ – on the podcast
3) Annabelle Chvostek playing live: ‘Foxtail’ – on the podcast
4) Annabelle Chvostek: ‘G 20’ from the album “Rise”
